Roots on Six

Join us in person at Edmonton City Hall or live online for an afternoon of celebration and conversation on Treaty 6 in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day and World Refugee Day. Roots on Six is a communal space and a digital storytelling platform that celebrates the resilience of Indigenous, refugee and newcomer communities. It emerged from the convergence of UNHCR World Refugee Day and Indigenous People’s Day and resulted from a multi-year collaboration between Bent Arrow Healing Society, Catholic Social Services, EMCN, IFSSA, MCC, and the City of Edmonton.
