Join us for an afternoon of toe-tapping, hand-clapping joy, including big band hits (“Satin Doll”, “Opus 1”, “Jersey Bounce”), familiar tunes from Hollywood and Broadway (Saturday Night Fever, Begin the Beguine), a touch of Latin (“Tico-Tico”) and featuring some of Edmonton’s finest dancers! This exciting concert premieres 2019 Young Composer Project winner Caelan Jansen’s original piece, and closes with long-standing tradition, Tchaikovsky’s epic 1812 Overture. Don’t miss out!
