A rustic outdoor display of railway equipment and buildings. The museum replicates a small terminal with station, water tank and shops. The main emphasis is on cars and locomotives from the Canadian National Railways (CNR), Northern Alberta Railways (NAR) and industrial and short line railways.
We regret that not all of the museum’s grounds and collection are wheelchair accessible. Baby and child strollers are not recommended for touring the site. Plan to bring a carrier.
When you visit the museum be prepared to do a lot of walking and climbing stairs. Sandals and open-toed shoes are not suited to the walking tour.
Self‐guided tours of the museum are available, using a grounds map. These tours may last approximately 90 minutes.
